ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The area of Bezistan and Čavke’s passage is located in the centre of city and they connect Terazije and Nikole Pašića squares, as well as the pedestrian part of Nušićeva street. According to their current structure and mode of use, these two subunits differ significantly.

Bezistan subunit is a valuable urban heritage which must not be endangered by introducing new contents nor by any changes in the structure and materialization that could alter their appearance. This part of the area is renovated completely following the existing condition.

Čavke’s passage is a subunit which is different in materialization and atmosphere from Bezistan and it is possible to introduce new content in it.
